Monday Meditations: Meditating Middle Schoolers

I just read an amazing article with an inspiring video at the end that shows what a new program is doing for very troubled schools in San Francisco. Inspired by the concepts of Transcendental Meditation, "Quiet Time" has led three middle schools in violence-ridden areas of San Francisco to dramatically reduce suspensions, fighting, and graffiti, while greatly increasing test scores, attendance rates, and acceptance into top high schools.

What are your thoughts on bringing meditation to public middle schools?
